My Students

I teach a combination of kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students at a diverse Title I school. My students are bright, funny, and eager to learn. It is my goal, each year, to make the first experiences at school good ones. I want to create a bright and inviting space for the children to feel safe and excited about learning and working together as a team.

My Project

These materials will help facilitate remote learning, but will still remain useful whenever we return to school. The document reader will help me create video learning experiences for my students to engage with from home. I can use it to read the books included in this project, to do writing lessons, math, phonics--you name it.

I am looking for ways to create continuity and give the students a sense of normalcy during this unprecedented time.

In addition to the document camera, I added a few books to this lesson that will go good with upcoming units of study.
