Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The Coronavirus pandemic affected our school community because it changed the way we deliver instruction. Students are learning from home, some have iPads, and some have laptops. I use books to read aloud and chart paper to model when applicable.

My Project

The headset and microphone will increase the quality of sound and video when recording read-alouds that relate directly connect to the content. I will produce high-quality lessons using these tools, which will enhance the delivery of each experience. In addition, I will use the tools to provide social-emotional support as well.

With the tools I will film read aloud, model lessons to provide uninterrupted teaching time, host virtual sessions, and create podcasts geared toward increasing comprehension of content material.

Another vision is to improve summer learning with the goal of frontloading content for the upcoming school year.
