Help me give my students a laptop to conduct remote learning through online investigations and create science videos in iMovie.

In a typical day in my classroom, 30 students work on basic biology and chemistry labs. They are engaged and enthused about learning biological and chemical principles. They work collaboratively and actively participate in class. At the end of the year, I want them to gain proficiency in biology and chemistry and see its relevancy.
They speak English, French, Spanish, Wolof, and Igbo among other languages.
They are typical teenage students who are going through typical teenage challenges: peer acceptance, relationships, etc. They also have some challenges that are germane to their environment. There are gang-related issues, poverty, and unemployment. This project is particularly aimed at providing them with opportunities to examine macroscopic chemical phenomena.
As teachers across the country transition to remote learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it's imperative that we have access to tools that will allow to traverse this new landscape. The Apple - MacBook Pro laptop will give me an opportunity to create science-related iMovies and examine the content using Chemistry simulations. In addition, I will be able to utilize a plethora of other distance learning tools and resources. Chemistry can be very abstract by nature. We ask students to learn about substances on a submicroscopic level. The simulations will help build this understanding by presenting the content through gameplay. Students get to construct atoms in games like Collisions and learn the rules of how electrons fill atomic orbitals. The PhET simulations allow students to build isotopes of atoms and gain an understanding of how atomic mass is determined. Access to these tools are critical now more than ever so that less privileged students can get attain the science skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for this new normal.
