This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! Truly, they are my inspiration!

They come to school each day, ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

Curious, enthusiastic and creative, my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

Their home life presents many challenges, linguistically and financially, causing them to grow up quickly. However, that does not stop them from being fearless when it comes to learning!

My Project

Help me give our students Chromebooks to support creating bright futures during this pandemic. Our school is closed for the safety of our students and staff due to COVID-19 affecting NYC! As teachers, counselors and providers, we want to continue teaching through remote learning but many of our students lack access to technology!

We are asking for ChromeBooks so our students can continue their learning which is vital to their emotional and educational growth!

We would like minimal interruption of their learning. We set up our Google Classroom with lessons and activities for our scholars, communicating and supporting them throughout the day. The next step is providing them with the technology necessary to access this great, remote learning tool! Please help spread the word to help our deserving children.
