My Students

My students are in a full-time, ICT, second-grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.

All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.

My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn, with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.

Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!

My Project

If a year ago, someone would have said we would be remote teaching from home, I would have never believed anyone. This is a very hard time for so many families around the world. What we need now is to be able to help all our students as much as we can. Remote learning is important not only for the children to complete schoolwork, but to maintain a line of communication. It is important to check-in and make sure everyone is doing well, mentally, physically and emotionally. I am requesting a Chromebook and ear pods so I can help my students as much as I can. I need the headphones because I have small children running around my house and need to be able to communicate with my students by hearing them.
