Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Now at home, My prekindergarten students are having their first school experience via remote learning on Zoom. They are eager and excited to learn and make new discoveries that will spark their curiosity for new learning through numerous discoveries and explorations of wonderful online resources. My students are experiencing new discoveries every day, but need some teaching/learning supplies to have fun and enjoyment on follow up activities. The prekindergarten students are learning how to navigate talks and work with classmates on a screen. I know my students will still be able to grow this year with numerous opportunities to interact with peers on remote learning. I intend to provide my students with opportunities for many discoveries using online resources. Adding art and craft materials will make learning just a little more exciting for these young preschool students. I will promote creative and extraordinary learning lessons developing social-emotional, language and literacy skills, incorporating the arts, including music, and fine motor skills.
My Project
My project will provide my students with opportunities to use art and craft supplies such as Art Start Kit 2 and EV212 Regular Dot Art Painters Set of 6 to promote at home/remote learning. The supplies will bring joy to my students while they create and express using their imagination on follow up activities.
The colossal assortment of texture, foam, shapes, beads, buttons, tissue paper and art yarn will provide exciting opportunities to create many projects.
These creations will enhance learning objectives and provide opportunities for students to orally express themselves when sharing with friends on zoom. Every child enjoys sharing their creative artistic expression.
