Help me give my students the technology needed to participate in remote learning during this COVID-19 pandemic.

My second grade students come from low-income households and all receive free lunch. I provide them with a rigorous curriculum to keep them challenged. As a result, they have earned the highest school rating this past school year. Our school goal is to provide our students with the best learning environment so that they can have continued success.
Meeting the needs of my twenty five plus diverse students is a daily challenge.
Student abilities vary from high achieving to students with learning disabilities. Our classroom learning environment is centered around small group instruction so that learning can be extended and tailored to meet the needs of every student. Differentiating their learning is necessary so all students can find success at their own pace.
This pandemic caught us all by surprise. We could not have anticipated the longevity of school closings. We left all textbooks, workbooks and materials in the classroom. Fortunately for us, my students used technology in the classroom and are very familiar with how to navigate and use.
Many of my students do not have access to devices at home.
Some are using a parents phone while others have no access.
I am requesting 10 Kindle Fire tablets that will give my students access to the remote learning platforms we will be using for math, reading, and social-emotional learning. I am setting up a daily schedule where I can meet my students face to face via google hangouts. There I will be able to check in to make sure that they are safe on a daily basis. We will then move to announcements and then our lessons to be conducted live. I believe that its important to try to keep some aspect of their lives familiar. We will follow some of the routines that have been established this school year. I believe the consistency of meeting daily will help keep some normalcy in their lives.
