I teach a classroom of 17 students at a Title 1 school with 80% of its students receiving free and reduced lunch. It is rare if a student ever gets help at home with their work. Parents are mostly in survival mode. Most of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. They come without pencils, or paper, or folders, but thankfully, they come. Their little shirts aren't always clean, but their faces beam, and their eyes glow with the desire to be noticed and appreciated.

My students need motivation to try their best. Kindergarteners love to be rewarded and need to be rewarded constantly to maintain good behavior. My students would be much more excited about learning if they knew a reward was coming their way. However, my toy chest is depleted.

I want to reward the good kids for being good. My students need something to encourage them to persevere when there are many negative role models in their lives and within the school environment. My students love stickers and bookmarks. This would be the best motivator.

Your help would put a smile on my students faces. You would make it possible for my students to be able to be rewarded on a daily basis.
