This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
There are many areas with unfavorable weather, and its effects on people are unexpected. Storms and tornadoes are examples of extreme weather events that can happen quickly and violently. My top priority for my students in such a situation is their safety. Hurricanes and tornadoes will demolish everything in their path leaving devastation and despair in its path.
Student safety is essential and must come first.
In the event that our school sustains major damage from a hurricane or tornado, we will have to rebuild from the ground up. Securing essentials such as clean water and food takes priority but also takes time. For my students to actively participate in finishing their assignments, they first need to know their basic needs will be met. I am asking for a microwave and fridge to keep things cool or warm. Please help!
