My Students

I have the most amazing, hardworking, and driven students. These students have extremely rigorous schedules taking 2- 3 AP courses while worrying about college applications and dealing with other stressors that comes with being high school students. Sometimes I use my class to let them decompress.

My Project

In the Library Media Center I work with students who have rigorous schedules and just need a break from the stress of school and most recently the stress of COVID.

I like my students to always feel comfortable and strive for an atmosphere of happy and calming.

Sometimes students like to sit at table and do work while while others choose to grab their book and sit alone between some bookshelves! I thought beanbag chairs might be more comfortable for those students! I also added coloring books for students who just need something relaxing to do for a few minutes.

Now more than ever we need to have independent stress relievers for our students in a safe environment.
