My Students

Kindergarteners are wonderful because they love everything. They are excited to come to school every day and learn something new. My students love learning, and my job is to keep that fire burning.

We live in a rural ranching community in Colorado where more than a third of students come from low income households.

Our school district does not have the resources to purchase everything my kindergartners need. I want the best for my students, and I need your help!

My Project

Full day kindergarten can be a long day for little five and six year olds. It can be a challenging transition from half day preschool to full day kindergarten.

I am asking for ten new rest mats for my kindergarteners to use for afternoon rest time.

The rest mats we have in our room are very old. A lot of the stuffing has come out and they are held together with duct tape. We need new rest mats. The Lakeshore rest mats are guaranteed to last for at least five years.
