I teach a diverse group of amazing, eager, energetic students who come from a variety of backgrounds. I have ELL students, students with IEPs, and more than 50% qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch assistance program. They all, have the same desire to learn new things in a supportive environment.
In my classroom, students’ imaginations are ignited.
It is my goal to instill a love of learning. The diversity of our students is an advantage, as we are able to share ideas and thoughts from many different cultures. This diversity helps us as we work together in groups.
We are a group of learners who support each other and work together to learn in the best way possible. We often learn by doing and creating, focusing on the process as we go. We think, discuss, and work hard, as we prepare to be lifelong learners.
My Project
My students love reading nonfiction books! They are fantastic fact finders and love to share their learning with others. Help me give them nonfiction books about animals so they can research and do reports on their favorite animals.
When students are engaged, their learning ignites!
By providing them with informative, fact filled books geared towards their interests, it will allow them to get excited about learning. Having flexible cushion seating will give them the opportunity to read in small groups or even outside with partners. When provided with great supplies, students can thrive!
