Help me give my students a bean bag chair and paper shredder. My students love to lay on bean bags while they are reading. The paper shredder is for my documents that by law have to be shredded to keep my students privacy.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Students with flexible seating can take control of their education and choose the options that best suit them. They pick a place in the classroom to work in during individual work periods. Right now, my kids can choose to work at various tables in our room, under tables with clipboards, or sitting or lying on the floor with a clip board. In order to motivate pupils, it is crucial to ensure their comfort. When I give my pupils a choice in where they sit, I see incredible differences in them. They virtually always choose well when it comes to where they sit, are more focused, and finish more work than when they are merely seated at their desk.
