My Students

My students are the best around. I teach a very diverse group of six-year-olds. They absolutely love reading and writing. They have a desire to learn and become lifelong learners. Teachers enable this to happen and often provide basic essentials to their students!

Our school is a Title I public school, with limited funding.

It is our goal to educate every student and see them succeed in all portions of their lives. All students are given equal opportunities for achievement.

My Project

The addition of the original Nugget to my classroom, will offer my students a comfy spot to read, relax and have fun. We have a reading carpet where the nugget will be placed, allowing lots of room to stretch out and read! This durable sofa is large and can be spread out so many students can enjoy it's comfort. This environment will generate an excitement for reading and students will literally line up to have a turn. I am so excited to be able to bring this to my classroom! My students will be relaxing and reading before I know it!
