I teach grade three and my students are a great group of kids who love to learn. Our school has about 600 students from a variety of backgrounds.

Recently our school had all the carpeting taken out of the classrooms. Students love sitting on the floor to read and work on projects but in the cold months it's very uncomfortable for students to do this. It would be great for my students to have the opportunity to sit in other places to do their work.

Having a carpet for kids to sit on would give them more flexibility in the classroom. Because we don't have any carpeting in the classroom it is too cold to sit on the floor in the winter months. There are other kids who need more space or a quiet space to work. Having rug in the classroom would allow for this to happen.

Your help will allow my students to sit on the floor to get projects done on a comfortable area rug in the room.
