My Students
I teach kindergarten and my school has a 100% Title I qualification. Eighty-six percent of the scholars at my school are considered economically disadvantaged. Despite the challenges that many of the students face, they charge on and are determined to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
My kindergarten scholars are little sponges that persevere.
In my class we become family and it is so special to see them begin to encourage one another and build friendships. I hope that I can provide all that my scholars need so that they can excel in life and take ownership of their learning.

My Project
My students are amazing scholars that are eager to learn. They are constantly putting their brain into gear and learning an abundance that no one can ever take away from them.
Rekenreks are a great tool for young minds to use and manipulate with.
This tool will allow the students to determine different equations based on 10 which will allow them to do more complex equations as the school year goes on and as they head to the older grade levels.
My hope is to set my kiddos up for success and ahead of the game in Kindergarten so that their excitement for learning continues to grow.
