My students need the Readycut Printing Blocks, E-Z-Cut Printing Blocks, Solarplates, and Mint Custom Stamp Maker. These tools will allow my students to experience more hands-on fine art projects!
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” - Edgar Degas
I teach 200 students a day in southern West Virginia.
Our school is a low socioeconomic school with nearly 600 students, grades 6-8. I rotate through nearly all of the students in school throughout the year. Despite our large numbers, I strive to provide a well-rounded, and creative learning environment. A consistent goal of mine is to expose the students to college level Fine Art projects to prepare them for the next level of Art Education in their lives. This allows for my students to be successful in high school, college, and beyond.
Many of my students are always eager to do all of the various projects that we complete throughout the semester. The excitement of my students can be easily read when they enter my classroom everyday.
My Project
All of these requested items and tools will allow my students to experience an enhanced visual art classroom. The stamp maker will allow my students to combine technology with art. The solarplates will allow my students to experience science by allowing the sun to create the images on their plates. The wooden and E-Z-Cut plates will allow my students to experience a fully immersed hands-on art experience by carving out their artwork piece by piece.
All of these tools will allow my students to feel more successful in their artistic growth.
They will experience a development in multiple levels of artistic growth with these materials. They can fully redesign and re-experience art in a whole new manner. This will be a great opportunity for my students and their artistic experiences.
