This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things exciting and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences

My classroom is comprised of 56 amazing students, many of whom come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced price lunch.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

My students will be able to experience Jigspace. This platform allows them to truly interact with 3D models to experience the inner workings of objects. They are able to explore things that I never imagined with a swipe of a finger. How cool is that?

I want them to be able to use this new technology that seems to be as limitless as their imagination.

Students will also be able to use these iPads for listening centers during our reading block. This will help my struggling readers obtain fluency and comprehension. It makes differentiation in the classroom quick and easy!
