Help me give my students the snacks they will need to continue their day at school. These snacks will help motivate and help the students to keep working on their assignments, especially when they are hungry.
With a school population of 15% of students in temporary housing, 37% as English language learners, and 40% having disabilities, I am motivated to ensure the best possible experiences for every single of my students. As research shows, children need to be engaged and motivated to learn in school. In addition, students are known to thrive best when they are welcomed into an environment that supports their everyday needs instead of it being physical, social, emotional, or academic.
My Project
This project is all about supporting our students. Just like us adults, food fuels us, well food and snacks also fuel our students. These students have an early lunch and they get hungry earlier in the day and when this happens they tend to get tired and want a snack. These snacks will help motivate these students to keep working on their assignments and to help them move along the day until it is time for them to go home. These snacks will be a huge help for these students and will make such a difference.
