Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager to learn and experiment with the various mediums in the art room. They come from many different ethnic backgrounds such as Asian, Native American, Arabic, African American, Latino and Caucasian.
We work hard and we work hard at being nice.
In the art room, everyone is equal and each student gets to own their creations! Creation, exploration and getting messy is the way to go at our school. I always remind the kids that there are no mistakes in art.
My Project
With these additional supplies, my students will be able to push their creative minds a little bit further than in the past!
The stencils will help with designing machines, drawing the human figure in motion, and the others will allow for great hand-eye coordination for my littlest PreK students.
The Sharpies and markers are ALWAYS in need in my art room. After all, that's how we make our artworks look amazing!
This year we will be trying some visual art in the style of MC Escher, so the tessellation tracers will really come in handy to boost my lesson.
