My 3rd graders are driven students who love to learn. Working at a school that services low-income families we don't always have the funds to get new items in our classrooms that can enhance student learning in a variety of ways. I would like to give back to my students by adding some elements to our classroom that would keep their motivation to learn at an all-time high!
I have some wonderful and creative students in my classroom this year.
I have 20 awesome learners this year and each one learns in their own special way! I would love to have an environment where each of my 20 students can do their best because I am able to provide the best learning environment for them!
My students are caring, hard-working, and have a positive mindset to overcome obstacles each day. Some students face more obstacles than others, and my goal is to accommodate each and every student so they can give their best effort every day!
My Project
With these items, my students can have these small accommodations they need to face challenges and come out successful.
Every student learns differently and the resources that are readily available play a large part in their learning success.
My students who are easily distracted by noise or light can have their needs met with the noise-canceling headphones, which block out noises that may be hard to ignore. Without the noise, they can stay on task and complete their work. By reducing the light with the blue covers, my students can have a much more calming and inviting environment to reduce any stress or frustration the heavy, fluorescent lights gave to them.
Being able to meet a child's needs in every way is my goal as an educator. Unfortunately, we don't always have the funding to provide awesome resources for our students. I would love to see how much my students can learn with the addition of some tools for them to access at any time.
