Approximately 75% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-priced lunch. Many are low-income, poverty, homeless, and we have a high number of military families. There is an amazing group of hard-working young adults in my class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve a high school diploma and go to college.
These students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down.
These students overcome so many different setbacks during their time in school.
My Project
My students in our schoolwide recycling club are just amazing. They work each week before and after school to help collect recycling throughout our entire school building, plus what the community drops off to help our school. We are currently using a very small cart which makes it hard to keep up with the amount of recycling that the students are collecting.
I am requesting a large Rubbermaid utility cart that will make the collection process easier and quicker for my students.
They are working so hard to help our school, community, and the environment, I want to make sure they have access to all the materials and resources that will make them successful. By donating to this project you will be helping to provide my students with this amazing utility cart that will make a huge impact in their goals of promoting recycling throughout our school.
