My Students
Our school strives to have all students aspire to the highest level and be engaged in their own education. We want our students to have a successful, high school experience and be prepared for whatever comes after high school. My classroom, which is a MakerSpace/STEAM Lab, offers students a chance to explore avenues of interest beyond the regular classroom.

This is a quote by General George S. Patten and is very true of students. My students surprise me with their creativity, critical thinking and problem solving every day.
My Project
Students used to be able to video school event, create videos portraying literature and history, tell stories with video or create their own videos for fun.
Sadly the camera we used is longer available.
Since the students no longer have a camera, video production is no longer feasible as it does not work very well using student phones. This leaves a big void!
Students work with standards-based grading and they used the camera to create some very unique projects to demonstrate learning. We are just beginning to have our students complete a celebration of learning and a video camera would play a big role in the options students had available to them.
