My Students

My students have limited exposure to different types of fitness activities. They typically come from low to middle socially economic backgrounds that have included previous generations. They like to learn in groups using various types of technology and sports equipment.

My Project

The use of the Samsung tablet will help to engage my students' learning through video capture and other interactive fun. It will assist my teaching by allowing me the freedom to move around the gym and take attendance, grade, and issue pass when students need to sign out of the room. A tablet is not limited to one place but can be carried around to multiple locations.

With this tablet, my students can capture their movements and playback to make corrections as needed.

The tablet would be part of station work. Students will perform tasks to either watch to correct form or submit to me for grading.
