My students are inquisitive, ecstatic, and a fun-loving bunch who are ready to try new challenges presented to them. I teach a class of Emergent Bilinguals, their learning levels are spanned across the levels, some students receive services and extra support. The majority of my students are low income, immigrant families, who are trying to build their language to help meet testing standards. Some learn better through drawing and labeling, others through visuals with color-coding. Some enjoy placing their thoughts through journaling, and others through sets of comprehension activities.
This year's class is an eclectic bunch of learners, they are opened to using different strategies and tools to learn with.
Due to the pandemic, the children have been trying to complete their assignments the best they can. The shining moment of the day is when we are able to meet virtually. When we come back to the physical school setting we could have a chance to reconnect visuals through prints of pictures.
My Project
Presently, our students have been coping with the separation the best way they can. School is the place where we can interact with each other yet they've found a way to brighten their day through meeting with us virtually. This project is to help student's reconnect.

With the photo printer, students can share pictures of things that give them joy and have them displayed. These photos will serve as a way to encourage discussions to the path of reconnecting.
