This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher at our school, I've started a Puzzles Club in our after-school program. It's more than just solving puzzles; it's a space where students share ideas and life stories. These puzzles help them speak up and connect with each other. Some students come to talk and seek advice, making it a supportive community.

It encourages collaboration and camaraderie.

With 500 to 1000 pieces per box, teamwork is a must. Students need to plan strategies to finish the puzzles, teaching them problem-solving and critical thinking. It's not just about puzzles; it's preparing them for real-life challenges.

This club has become a space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding. But we can not keep this going without your help.
