Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom consists of 18 eager students who are passionate and driven to learn. Learning is also playing and socializing with friends. Our students are in need of recess materials.

My school has a very large bilingual population and is also a Title I school.

Many students are learning and reading in English for the first time and one of the ways that English language learners will learn English is through playing.

My Project

The materials that I am asking for are for our Kindergarten students to have the ability to pick equipment to play with. At this time, we don't have equipment for our students. Having these materials such as the parachute will make recess fun for our students. At this time, we have materials that are broken down, balls are not inflated, and our jump ropes are unusable. If we have these materials, students will be so happy to go outside and play with their friends with the equipment they can play with.
