Recess FUNdamentals!

Help me give my students equipment that they can use during movement time. This sports equipment and activities will give them ways to interact and move during both indoor and outdoor recess.

My Project

Middle school students are so full of energy! After sitting in class for so long, they need an outlet, and we would like to give them opportunities to get energy out while building communication skills, so they can focus on their academics when they come back into class. Our students have had to use their imagination to keep themselves busy at recess, as there is no playground or other permanent structures for them to use for activities.

Providing recharge and reset opportunities during recess is important for a multitude of reasons.

We want to provide our students with a wide variety of age appropriate, physically engaging equipment for both outdoor and indoor recess.
