My Students

WA is a great school made up of dedicated teachers and the best kids you can imagine! We are a Title I school with 100% free breakfast and lunch. A lot of our families do not have the extra money for field trips, uniforms or school supplies. We have many families that can not afford food and some are homeless. We love our students here at Whitewater and we do everything in our power to give them the best opportunities to succeed!

My Project

Everyday I take my students out for recess. We have a huge field and blacktop to play on but we are limited on recess equipment. We would love to have some fun equipment to entertain these sweet children. Right now, my students are not very excited about recess due to the fact they do not have many items to play with. Just by helping us obtain a few hulahoops, playground balls, and movement scarfs would ensure a successful recess! These materials would help my students stay active while loving recess! They work so hard during the school day that they deserve a fun break!
