Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Living in Chicago often means that recess takes place indoors for most of the year. Providing students with materials that can keep them active during the winter months will help promote a healthy student body.

We hope that providing students with these resources will allow them to stay active, thus benefiting students' mental and physical health!

With resources such as balls and jump ropes, we aim to give students options to keep them physically active. In providing board games, we aim to give students options to connect with friends. We also hope to receive resources such as the equipment rack that will allow us to keep materials organized. In keeping our new equipment organized we hope that it will last us for many years to come.

Please consider donating so our students can receive new items to play with during recess. This equipment will not only be utilized during the winter months for indoor recess but also for the outdoor recess season as well.
