My students need playground materials for recess. Currently students only have two basketball hoops. The storage hoop and rope cart would help organize the playground equipment. The other materials would help provide more outdoor activities.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from many different ethnic backgrounds. Most of my students speak at least one other language at home. I teach at a school in Massachusetts where 100 percent of students receive free breakfast and lunch. Some students are sent home with backpack meals. Despite so many hardships my students are eager to learn and do their best. They come to school no matter what is happening at home to learn and be successful in school. I like to provide my students with creative and meaningful work.
My Project
Students have outdoor recess. Once they are outside there is nothing for students to play with. We do not have any playground equipment. Students are getting bored outside. Its important for them to have activities they can do while outside.
Students would look forward to outdoor recess if they have equipment to use.
The balls could be used for kickball and four square. Jump ropes and hula hoops could be used in one area of the playground.
I would like my students to look forward to outdoor recess. Its important they are exercising and getting fresh air. This will help the entire building.
