Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so important to me. They are great kids who have to deal with a lot of things in their lives. I like to help them push through the negative and remain positive. They need to be reminded that is matters less where you come from to where you are going. One of the biggest problems at school right now is quality recess for primary students.
This is where you can help, I would like to order different resources that will be used for recess only because sometimes a busy student is a good student.
Another important part is no injuries and that is a problem because the recess has become over crowded at times. So, some of the traditional recess equipment cannot be used because there are to many students.
My Project
The students love their recess time, but many times the problem becomes what to let them play with that will not cause an injury. Recess can be very crowded and that means for the primary students not much equipment of mine that will not cause an injury. I have bought a couple foam things in the past and that has worked great, but that came out of my pocket. Recess or exercise breaks are very important to our students success, but it is more important to have safe recess time.
This is where you can help me because I put together a package of safe recess equipment that our Kinder to 3rd grade will love.
The equipment includes many balls that usually will not cause any injury because they are soft. The foam equipment works best and will be especially useful for the upcoming winter months when recess is pushed into the gymnasium. Please consider taking a couple dollars out of your budget to help my students have a more enjoyable recess.
