This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a multiculturally diverse low-income/high poverty school district, my students face many challenges. My goal is to help my students learn in a fun creative way of learning.

I believe children are capable of learning if they fully believe in themselves.

Students in my class are challenged to "Be the Best that they can be!" Building self-esteem and challenging students is the core of my teaching.

My students gain wisdom and knowledge through an exciting, challenging, and positive classroom environment.

My Project

Time For Kids helps young First graders to be adept with their Literacy skills.

Comprehension of real world subjects helps my class to be successful in their academics in the areas of STEAM and Literacy.

Also, the emphasis of STEAM in our classroom learning is an overall focus that I am proud to teaching to my class.

Time For Kids totally weaves all of the lieteracy standards through their publications for developmentally appropriate ways. Children in this age group are able to truly understand STEAM concepts and they are able to share their learned knowledge with their peers and families!
