My students need 56 organizer bins to make the classroom library more user friendly, rather than an avalanche just waiting to happen.

My Students

My students are unable to access my classroom library without books falling all over the place. I have organized this shelf , only for it to turn into a mess shortly thereafter. Crates would allow books to be placed right on their desks for easy access.

My students are children of military personnel who protect our great country.

These students have parents who care, want, and value education. These students are often worried about parents who are deployed to the war in Iraq or the region nearby. They are high performing children in spite of these circumstances!

My Project

My students are from very hard working parents with little means. I want for nothing, as they are generous to a fault. I could not ask them to fund this project. My students need organization to make the classroom library more user friendly, rather than an avalanche just waiting to happen. This will allow students access to my classroom library, and thus, do more reading which is essential to their success!

I want to provide my students with hands-on books.

Studies show that when books are close at hand, children, and even reluctant readers are more likely to grab a book and read. This would allow me to organize my classroom library by interest, reading level, and/or genre.
