Help me give my students the opportunity to use quality mirrors for learning how to draw realistic self portraits - every art student will have the opportunity to use these new mirrors each semester!

In our "arts-integrated" school, teachers collaborate to plan authentic learning experiences that affirm and prepare our students through the arts.
Our school serves students from neighborhoods all over our city.
Our historic building was built in 1916, and is 102 years old! I serve students in grades 6-8 enrolled in visual art. Our students are creative individuals who deserve the best materials and resources!
In our school, students learn content in core subjects through the arts. Core content learning is strengthened through theatre, visual art, music, and dance.
Middle School students draw self-portraits each year or semester they are enrolled in Art at our school. Learning to draw portraits in proportion and realistically is a challenge. Practicing drawing a self portrait through direct observation of looking in a mirror is a bigger challenge, and using an old, broken or peeling mirror to draw a self portrait from is an obstacle we can take away for our students to gain success in realistic self portrait drawing.
The gift of these high quality, plastic (almost unbreakable) mirrors will help Binford artists have the opportunity to see themselves clearly as they learn to render themselves realistically in their observational self-portrait drawing.
These mirrors will help students see themselves clearly as they apply learning the applied 'mathematical rules' of facial proportion in drawing their own self-portraits, year after year.
