My Students

Do you ever remember being in school and reading about science but having no idea how "that" works or just thinking "what"? Well, I am trying to change that for my first graders. I am striving for a hands-on, exploration approach to science. An environment where they can dive into their learning.

I have 22 curious outgoing first graders each and every year.

Most of them or economically challenged. My goal is to light a fire in their lives to further their education. I want my students to get the most of their education everyday. I know you can help me.

My Project

I will be using these materials in exploration centers in my classroom. My students will be allow to explore and experiment using magnets, magnifying glasses, rocks, simple machines, and other wonderful tools. The materials I have requested will go be used by students for years to come. They are VERY well made and make a difference in 100's of students education.

Choosing to make a difference in a students education will make a difference in the rest of their lives.
