My students need tickets to see the Broadway hit production "The Lion King" at the historic Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis, Missouri. Our students are eager to see the production with your help!

My Students

At our rural Missouri school, our students live in a high poverty area where they do not have many opportunities for exposure to the arts, or cultural events. In our speech/drama class, we are trying to give them an opportunity to grow as professional speakers and gain appreciation of theatrical productions.

Though the students in my class haven't had many of these opportunities for cultural events, they are eager to experience different aspects of the world.

Many of our students receive free or reduced lunch, and their parents can't afford the prices of the tickets to experience fine arts events.

My Project

In our speech/drama class, we focus on public speaking, and appropriate dress and body language while speaking and attending fine arts events. While on our trip to the Fox, students will learn theater etiquette, dress, and manners.

Your donation to our field trip will enrich the lives of our students by giving them an opportunity to see public speaking, to put into practice the manners we have learned, and respect for professional productions.

Our students may never get the chance to see a Broadway play again, so this experience may truly be a once in a lifetime venture. We appreciate any and all donations!
