My Students

My students are special because of their love for science. My inquisitive science students are always asking questions about how different processes in science function, like life cycles and ecosystem sustainability. They are special because my classroom is a place where they can be inquisitive and we can explore their questions in our hands-on labs and lessons.

I loved seeing my students have the "aha moments" as we learned about how animal cells undergo cellular respiration and plant cells undergo photosynthesis and how they rely on each other.

My Project

Students will use these items in a lab setting to see real life plant and animal interactions while we discuss life cycles, aqua culture and animal behavior. My students have been asking about real world applications of what we've been talking about. This would allow us to see them in action.

For example, students will be able to watch each stage of development as the caterpillar cocoons and transforms into a butterfly.

This would be a great way to create exciting, memorable and engaging opportunities in the classroom.
