My Kindergarten students are energetic and full of curiosity.
They are always wanting to know the hows and whys of everything. As one question is answered, another is asked. They are developing the love of reading and can't get their hands on enough books.
My Project
I am looking to add to more non-fiction and informational text books to my classroom library. I want to offer the children books that are the appropriate reading level for my little learners. My students should be able to read and discover factual information on their own. They will then in turn be able to share with others the knowledge they have gained whether it be in their verbal retell or through their writings.
I am hoping to put informational text books in the hands of my students so they can read about the wonderful real world we live in.
Their love of reading will explode when they can read about real life experiences. I can't wait to see what they have learned as they carry it through into their writing. They deserve to have the very best life has to offer!
