I am in a Title I school. I have lots of students who are struggling in life but despite that fact, they are still determined to go to school and learn. I love my students' determination and perseverance. They are also active and enthusiastic learners. They love to play and do competitive games.
As their teacher, I want to give them a conducive learning environment where learning is engaging and meaningful.
I want them to learn our lessons using interactive materials to make sure they are making the most out of their learning.
I have high hopes for my students. I believe that they can all achieve their dreams in life. My role is to give them a strong foundation to prepare them for their bright future.
My students love STEM. They like to build different designs using manipulative and LEGOs. I am amazed with how these materials enhanced the higher-order thinking skills of my students.
As a teacher, I believe that in order for my students to make meaningful learning, they must experience it.
When I let my students experience what I teach, learning is and will always be there. In this trip, my class is going to visit two places. We will go to Legoland Discovery Center where they can build and play with LEGOs. At the same time, we will go to the adjacent center called Sea Life where my students can experience the life under the sea. This will be a great experience for my students and I cannot wait to surprise them with this trip. :)
