My Students

My Kindergarten students enjoy learning and being able to show everyone how much they can achieve. They love being able to demonstrate their understanding of what we are learning in many different ways!

My students tackle challenges with a growth mindset and are eager to learn anywhere they are.

They understand that we learn by trying and learning from our mistakes, and that even if something is hard for us to do, we should keep on practicing until we get better.

My Project

These Lakeshore resources will help my students to engage in student directed learning in order to learn how to write. They will be able to use these helpful tools as stations to work either independently, with a partner, or as a group.

My Kindergarten students come into the classroom with so many thoughts and ideas.

They aren't able to express these thoughts and ideas in writing, yet. The Creating Sight Word Sentences Center, English Language Development Writing Center, and and Ready to Write! prompt box, will allow the students to learn about the structure of sentences, build English language skills, and learn how to respond to prompts.

The end goal in mind is to have all students be able to write pieces that express their thoughts, ideas, and knowledge.
