This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am excited to be moving from fifth grade to sixth grade with my students this year. They are an amazing group of students that I have been lucky enough to teach in second, fifth, and now sixth grade. My school serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade. We are a Title I school and all our students are eligible to receive free lunches.
My students are hardworking and eager to learn.
Unfortunately, these amazing students don't always have access to some basic supplies that students take for granted.
I would love to give them a COOL place to learn and grow!
My Project
My students have one bean bag chair and absolutely love it and would love a second one so more people get to use it. We also need extension cords. We were lucky enough to get two fans donated but don't have outlets near the students so as the warm weather approaches, we need to be able to keep cool with our fans.
Our students also need ink for the class printer.
They just got done printing their Egypt projects and now are ready for their next assignment. They love being able to print from google docs and hang up their work right away.
