Help me give my students the chance to get their hands on books that are at their reading level. These book collections will allow my students access to fiction and nonfiction books in a variety of genres.

My Students

I have a classroom full of curious, creative, and eager learners! My kinder kiddos love school and showing off what we are working on to anyone who enters the classroom.

Students enter kindergarten at a variety of levels.

Some have had years of preschool while others have never had a formal school experience before. Each student is a unique individual with their own learning style. Together, we have worked hard to develop a classroom that celebrates individuality, hard work and perseverance!

My Project

In kindergarten, most students are learning to read for the very first time. It is a magical moment to see the smile cross one of my students' faces as they realize that they are actually reading a book!

In order for my students to develop successful reading skills, they need to be able to access a variety of engaging texts at their level.

The book collections that I have chosen will help my students do just that. These collections contain fiction and nonfiction books about high interest topics.

My kinders will be so excited to use these new books during their Reader's Workshop block! We would greatly appreciate any support you give us!
