My Students

I will be doing a lot of co-teaching with my special education students and their peers. I will be using these materials with my case load of 16 students and their high school peers. These materials will be beneficial year after year to use with my students.

Middle and high school special education students need to be engaged to get the most learning out of their day.

We often forget about movement in the upper grades but it is still necessary to create the best learning environment.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom because my students will greatly benefit from reading books that they are interested in while having flexible seating. For some students they need to be able to hear the story so I want to meet the needs of all my students by also getting ear buds for those who struggle reading but can listen to the story.

Students will be much more engaged when they can move around and read a book that they are interested in.

This project will help my special education students be actively involved in our reading and will help to keep them engaged.
