Help me give my students the tools they need to learn to read like Touch & Read Phonics Match games, CVC Word Work Center, Pop & Match Beginning Phonics games.
My school is a California Gold Ribbon and a California Distinguished School, as well as being a Title I School. To enrich our students, we have just become a STEAM Academy. My students come in daily with enthusiasm, and they are ready to learn. They are eager, young minds from a variety of backgrounds and knowledge. Some have had some preschool, and some have had none. They are all at varying levels of education.
The one thing they have in common is that they all want to learn.
My job is to teach them. In addition to teaching them, I would like them to love learning and love school. By making learning fun and varying the way we learn by introducing them to new and exciting things, I feel I can achieve this.
My Project
Please help my students with their early literacy needs. Young children like to play. As a teacher, I like to incorporate learning with play. The literacy games I am requesting, will do just that.
My students will be able to enjoy learning independently or in small group with these early literacy games and centers.
The Touch & Read Phonics Match games will help by teaching phonics and blending at the same time. With picture reinforcement, students will gain confidence in their blending skills. The Pop & Match Beginning Phonics games will be a fun way to teach beginning sounds and phonics to my young learners. The CVC Word Work Center will help them with their segmenting and blending skills to become readers.
