Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach the most awesome kindergarteners in the state of Georgia! I love teaching kindergarten because my students are always so eager to learn and are full of enthusiasm. I teach at a primarily ESOL school, and my classroom is full of diversity.
My students come from a wide range of backgrounds, and speak multiple languages.
I am fortunate to teach such a diverse group, because I learn so much from them on a daily basis. They truly make my job exciting.
I currently have 25 students enrolled in my class. 15 of my students receive ESOL services throughout the day. Two of my students are very limited in speaking and understanding English. I would love some emergent reading materials for my English Language Learners.
My Project
I have an awesome group of students. They are eager to learn and are ready for new challenges. I teach at a Title 1 School and the majority of the student population are English Language Learners.
My class is in need of emergent reading materials to help my students learn the language.
Fifteen out of twenty-five students receive ESOL services throughout the day. Two of my students are very limited in their knowledge and understanding of the English Language. I would love to receive some reading materials to help my students. Reading is key for the development and understanding of the language.
