This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 1st grade General Education and Bi-Lingual Reading and Social Studies teacher. My scholars are bright, young sponges who love to read. We have a lot to cover this year and I am ready to hit the ground running on Day 1!

My scholars are ready and willing to learn, and I am ready for the 1st day of school, but I need more materials to make this year a success!

Read-a-loud books and big books in both languages, English and Spanish, would make my classroom complete!

My Project

Reading is fundamental at any age. My students are still early readers and want to explore books always. The read-a-loud books in both English and Spanish will give every scholar in my room the opportunity to succeed.

My scholars are so lucky that, at an early age, they are able to speak both English and Spanish, and with these books I will be able to foster their ability to read in both languages as well.

Your donations will prove to my scholars that there are people out there that are generous enough to care about their education and reading abilities. Their minds will flourish and grow because of this project and your donations.
