This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a Teaching Assistant in a low income district. The students in my school are from 1st to fifth grade. The students in my building all qualify for free breakfast and lunch. The classrooms are overcrowded, but we have eagerly, willing to learn students that are here every day.

What makes my students special, is that they come from a struggling district that has students that are willing to learn.

My students all show an interest in learning. When a student is interested in learning, the learning process becomes more easier and enjoyable.

My Project

The Clorox Disinfectant wipes will be used daily by the students to clean their desks. Clean schools promote a healthy learning environment for all students. By using the wipes daily, the desks will be clean and disinfected. The wipes can also be used to rid the classroom of germs.

Because of the high population at our school a large number of students have to eat lunch in their classrooms.

The students in my school also eat breakfast in their classrooms. The desks need to be disinfected and cleaned on a daily basis so that the students can learn.

Clean desks will also help the students to be aware of the importance of a healthy learning environment. We are also now in the height of the flu season. Elementary students contract about 8-10 colds or flu each year.
