My Students
Bright, excited, and very tech savvy - this is how I would describe my Project Lead the Way students this year! They are an awesome bunch; ready to take on all the exciting challenges of our Project Based Learning STEAM school.
Our school serves students in grades 6-8; we strive to instill Respect, Empathy, Ambition, and Leadership in all of our students on a daily basis.
Approximately 90% of our students participate in the free/reduced lunch program and, outside of my classroom, may not have the resources or opportunity to be a part of robotics and engineering centered activities.
My Project
My students work tremendously hard building and programming robots on various platforms and are looking forward to competing in several different robotics competitions. Occasionally, my students may need to make edits to their coding files and add additional information when they're away from the school robotics lab; this is why laptops would be extremely helpful.
In order to be truly competition ready, my students need Lenovo laptops and carrying cases so that they can program their robots while on the go.
Having three Lenovo laptops will ensure that all of my robotics teams have access to a portable device for programming. This helps them to be more excited and have a competitive edge while at competitions.
