Help me give my students the Candyland backdrop, and the candy inflatables to help set the stage to engage my students in our math review for end of the year testing.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are special because many of them come from low socioeconomic, backgrounds and families. I have a group of diverse learners including exceptional education students and academically gifted. My students work hard and give me their all each and every day even when the results may not always be in their favor.
My students are sponges in the world of knowledge and never cease to amaze me!
These wonderful students deserve the opportunity to reach higher levels each and every day in the classroom. They are capable of excelling at anything they put their mind to.
My Project
This project would help me set the stage to engage every student in my classroom. I can help engage my ADHD students and allow them to be active participants in multiple math lessons. These resources will be used throughout my room. All of these items will be put up on display to enhance the interior design of my classroom. I want my students to retain knowledge that I teach while having fun and being excited about learning. These room transformations will help do just that.
Education is a powerful tool and should be taught with engagement.
These room transformations, of Candyland, carnival, Operation, and construction will help shape the different math units that I will be focusing on. Some things that I am asking for are tablecloths, life-size displays, surgical wear, and different items that will make math come to life.
These materials will make a difference in the way students learn. With these room transformations, students will be able to retain information more if they are fully engaged in the lessons.
